Agricultural Systems Research Cambodia Co.ltd (ASR Cambodia)

Agricultural Systems Research Cambodia Co.ltd (ASR Cambodia), established in 2011, is an agricultural consulting and contracting company supporting smallholder farmers in adopting climate-resilient practices. Specializing in conservation agriculture, sustainable crop protection, and integrated pest management, ASR also offers services in agricultural machinery promotion, training, and mechanized plantingβ€”particularly row planting of rice and no-tillage planting.

CASIC Cambodia

The Cambodia Conservation Agriculture and Sustainable Intensification Consortium (CASIC) is a national platform that coordinates and collaborates with organizations involved in Conservation Agriculture (CA) across Cambodia. CASIC promotes CA practices, supports market development, research, policy, and service delivery, while fostering crop diversification, improving access to cover crops and CA machinery, and encouraging private sector engagement.

GIZ has been active in Cambodia since 1994. Working closely with government and private partners, GIZ supports the country’s sustainable development through projects in economic development, health and social protection, climate resilience, and just transition.

East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer (EWS-KT)

East-West Seed Knowledge Transfer (EWS-KT) has been active in Cambodia since 2009, providing training to over 74,600 farmers since 2015. Khmer Enterprise (KE)

Khmer Enterprise (KE) aims to build a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in Cambodia by mobilizing resources and providing both financial and non-financial support to ecosystem builders. Its support targets entrepreneurs, innovative startups, potential SMEs, and partner institutions that promote entrepreneurial activities, drive innovation, and contribute to value-added creation in the national economy.

KS Seed

KS Seed focuses on the local seed production with the vision bring international standard for seed production in Cambodia. Since 2019 the company has provided research and development, seed production and supply, and technical support on vegetables seed for smallholder farmers.

Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MoWRAM)

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) is the Cambodian government authority responsible for managing water resources and meteorological services. Established in 1999, MOWRAM leads national efforts in irrigation development, water resource planning, disaster risk reduction, and climate monitoring. It supports sustainable water use for agriculture and rural livelihoods, and promotes national and international cooperation on water and meteorology issues.

National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM)

The National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) in Cambodia is the lead government agency responsible for disaster management. It plays a crucial role in coordinating disaster preparedness, response, and recovery efforts across the country.

National Committee for Sub-National Democratic Development (NCDD)

The National Committee for Sub-National Democratic Development (NCDD) is a public-sector body leading Cambodia’s decentralization and de-concentration reforms. It coordinates the national program for sub-national democratic development, supports local governance through policy, regulation, and funding, and engages local authorities in climate change adaptation efforts, particularly in livelihoods, infrastructure, and water security.

People in Need (PIN)

People in Need (PIN) has been active in Cambodia since 2008, delivering relief and development assistance through strategic programmes in Disaster Management & Urban Resilience, Green Energy, and Sustainable Livelihoods. PIN works closely with government partners and donors to address challenges in both urban and rural areas.

Unique Farming Inputs Co. Ltd. (UNIFI) is a private company established in 2022 by a team of agricultural development experts. UNIFI provides high-quality farming inputs and agronomy extension services to boost productivity and promote sustainable agriculture. The company is committed to raising awareness among farmers about soil biology and offers products such as organic and semi-organic fertilizers, biocontrol agents, and other inputs.
